Registration

  • Please come to connect with and help the indigent in the DFW community with dental cleanings and extractions. As well, there will be opportunities to work with students, who are future healthcare leaders.
  • Please come to connect with and help the indigent in the DFW community with medical screenings and vaccinations. As well, there will be opportunities to work with students, who are future healthcare leaders.
  • Students from medical, dental, pharmacy, and nursing are welcome to volunteer!

Come volunteer for this year's Asian Safety and Health Fair! 

Arrival Time
  • Set-Up (both dental & medical) - 8:00 A.M.
  • Dental starts (prescreening) - 9:00 A.M. 
  • Medical starts - 10:30 A.M.

Attire

Volunteers are encouraged to wear the VHPA shirt or scrubs. If you do not have either of these, business casual is acceptable.

Provided by the Dallas Police Department (DPD)

    • Extractions
    • Student Tasks: 
      • Check-in
      • Obtaining chief complaint
      • Guiding patients
      • Taking X-rays
      • Setting up and cleaning instruments/chairs
      • Setting up anesthesia armamentarium
      • Sterilizing instruments
      • Suctioning
      • Assisting dentists/hygienists
      • Giving post-op instructions
